I used 7 Lolly Sticks and wove them together with silk cottons in pinks and gold/browns, tightly for stability. Added an 8th stick as a cross bar leaving an overlap at one end. This will become part of the fastener.

I lightly stamped with a mix of colours before adding the string of beads shaped into an S. While all this was drying I made up several flowers all with pale pink middles and deep red gems. I had prepared a copper heart on acetate using copper liner from my glass paints. I added all of these features plus some butterflies.

So far I have backed it with pink card ready for the next stage. This will be two holes punched and fitted with eyelets, a cardboard back and pages. My scrapbook is going to be a very exciting project as I have never made , or had one before.

I have used my glue gun and extra strong glue to put all this together.
