The hat and the body are sewn in Vivi Gade felt. A knitted tube is used for the arms and legs and the painted straw shoes and ceramic hands are glued on. Polyester stuffing is used for the inside of the body and the hair is made from yarn.
Cut out the pattern but add no seam.
Sew the body together, reverside side against reverse side, with buttonhole stitches.
Sew the arms on approx. 2cm from the neck with backstitches. The arms are approx. 16cm long without folded hem.
Sew on the bottom with buttonhole stitches.
Sew on the legs in the bottom's reverse side with backstitches.
Sew the hat together in the back middle with buttonhole stitches.
Sew along the edge with buttonhole stitches.
Paint the straw shoes white with plus Color.
Glue the legs onto the bottom of the straw shoes using a glue gun.
Make an inward turning on the arms before gluing on the hands with a glue gun.
Fill the bottom of the body with plastic pellets.
Fill the rest of the body with polyester stuffing.
Sew the head onto the body with backstitches.
Gather the hair in the middle and tie a couple of knots.
Glue on the hair with a glue gun.
Place the hat on the head and tie on a scarf.
