Decorating Glass and Porcelain

Draw a design on plastic foil with contour and transfer colours for glass and porcelain. Pull the colour off the foil when dry and attach to glass and porcelain items using water. Dishwasher safe when fixed in an oven at 160 C for 45 minutes.

This excellent Transfer Glass Color is a water-based paint for decorating on glass and porcelain. It combines the well-known handling of Window Color and the long-lasting durability of glass and porcelain paint. Paint on special foil, let it dry and apply the design to the glass or porcelain object. Remember to fix the item in a household oven afterwards. A great activity with plenty of opportunity for a successful result. Have fun!

Place the design under the transparent foil and draw with a contour colour. Use a metal tip for fine lines. Allow to dry for approx. 2 hours.

Fill the design with glass paint. Allow to dry for approx. 24 hours.

Carefully remove the design from the foil by loosening a corner.

Dip the design in cold water and allow the excess to drip off.

Place on the clean glass or porcelain item and gently press it on with a cloth. Start in the middle and work outwards to remove air bubbles. Allow to dry for 6-8 hours.

Fix in a cool oven at 160 C for 45 minutes. Let it cool down in the oven.

You may merge two colours into each other with a pointed stick whilst the paint is still wet.
