Patinating Technique rusty bronze
A box with a canvas panel is decorated with an MDF ornament. Everything is patinated with Plus Color brown, bronze and turquoise. We have used a brush, a sponge and a foam brush.

Paint the canvas with Plus Color bronze using a flat foam brush.

Then dab/rub with Plus Color brown and dab a small amount of bronze on top. Be careful not to put too much ink on the sponge but apply gradually.

Paint the ornament with Plus Color brown.

Glue the ornament onto the canvas using a glue gun.

Now dab with the sponge alternating bronze and turquoise Plus Color until a patinated rusty bronze appearance is achieved.
