New Year's hats made from papier-m ch cones and metallic foil card with added glitter pom-poms.
Cut out a star using the template.
Wind a piece of bonsai wire around a thick pencil forming a spiral. Glue on the star.
Glue the bonsai wire onto the hair band.
Draw and cut a circle of 5.5cm in radius using a pair of compasses.
Draw and cut a half circle with a radius of 8cm. Glue together with special double-sided adhesive tape.
Plait a ribbon from elastic cord and glue this together with pom-poms.
Glue the hat onto the hair band.
Draw and cut a half circle with a radius of 13.5cm.
Cut off approx. 1cm from one side. Attach special double-sided adhesive tape onto the flap on the other side. Fold to make a cone shape.
Make small bows from card strips which are glued together and glued onto the hat with special double-sided adhesive tape.
Attach a piece of elastic cord as shown.
Glue on the pom-pom.
