Watercolours on Natural Eggs
The natural eggs in different colours are painted with watercolours/Tempera blocks. A piece of cotton cord – decorated with a wooden bead - is attached for hanging when dry.

1
Moisten the egg with water and insert a flower stick in one end of the egg whilst painting. When applying the watercolours, use plenty of water so that the paint is runny. Leave the egg on the stick when you have finished and let it dry.

2
Decorate a piece of cotton cord with a wooden bead and attach it to the hole in the egg using a glue gun.

NB
Use Fixative if you want to fix the colours. The process is not recommend for children to carry out and should take place in a well ventilated room or outside.
