Pipe cleaners inserted into the chestnut as arms, legs and hair. Leaves from outsidedecorated with tissue paper.

Tear the tissue paper into small pieces and glue them onto the glass plate with decoupage lacquer.

Make holes in the chestnuts with awl.

Cut the pipe cleaners to make arms and legs and glue them into the holes using a glue gun.

Decorate the model with decorative items such as leaves.

Glue on wiggle eyes with a glue gun.

Finally, decorate the model, glass and frame with Poster Hobby Marker (paint on the inside of the glass).

Great tip!

Choose small, flat chestnuts to put inside the frame – otherwise the frame cannot be closed. But you could also gently cut away a bit of the back of the chestnut to fit, but don't forget to dry it a bit before, as the moisture from the chopped chestnuts else can form some condensation. Put the glass in place and secure in each corner using a glue gun.
