Felt is cut and sewn with mercerised cotton yarn to make small cases. The decoration is either needle felted or cut in felt which is then sewn or glued onto the case using textile glue.

Depending on your abilities and dexterity, these small felt cases can be decorated with many small details and designs. They are sewn together with tacking stitches or buttonhole stitches. You may combine needle felting and the cut pieces of felt ... sew on beads, buttons, lace and other fun details. Unleash your imagination. There is no template for these cases as both mobile phones and glasses come in many different sizes. Normally cases for glasses measure 17 x 8cm.
Needle felting. Place some wool on top of a square piece of felt and felt using the felting needle – up and down. Don't forget your needle felting foam pad.

A cut piece of felt. Cut designs from felt and glue them onto a square piece of felt using Clear Multi Glue Gel or textile glue.

Sew the sides and – if you wish – the decoration using mercerised cotton yarn. Choose either tacking stitches or buttonhole stitches.
