It's blossoming – it's Spring!

We have designed some lovely colourful jewellery from clay and stone beads decorated with metal pendants – a lovely mix.

Necklace

1

Attach an oval jump ring to the pendant. Assemble an oval jump ring in this. Cut a piece of beading wire and pull on the pendant.

2

Fill beads onto the wire. Alternate between clay and stone beads and thread on a metal bead in-between.

3

When the necklace is the desired length, pull a crimp bead onto each end. Then pull on the last few beads. Cross the wire through the beads and the crimp beads.

4

Now pull the wire ends and squeeze the crimp beads completely flat.

Bracelet

1

Close the elastic cord like this: Tie a knot and pull. Tie the next knot by starting with the end nearest you (a reef knot). Tie five to six knots like this. Pull the elastic cord tight after each knot to "lock" the knot. Cut off the ends.
