Patinating Technique antique silver
The beautiful icon wood plate is decorated with a 3D MDF ornament and patinated with Plus Color black and Art metal silver to achieve an antique silver look using a brush and a sponge.

Paint the icon wood plate with Plus Color black.

Dab Art Metal silver on the side of the icon using a face painting sponge.

Varnish the icon with black varnish.

Paint the ornament with Plus Color black.

With a sponge, dab/rub on Art Metal silver. Only use a small amount of ink at a time.

Glue the ornaments onto the icon wood plate using a glue gun.
