A Wooden Icon

Painted with Plus Color Craft Paint and then decorated with text and pictures from decoupage paper with icons, imitation metal gold leaf and crosses.

Here you'll find the inspiration to decorate a wooden icon in two pieces. Paint the wooden icon with black Plus Color. Cut and tear text or pictures from the decoupage paper in an appropriate size, and glue onto the wooden icon on each side of the wooden centre piece. Paint a thin layer of white paint on top (you must be able to see through). (See photo). Paint blue and white on top of the black paint (on the piece of wood in the centre). Decorate the centre piece of wood with imitation metal gold leaf and decoupage paper with icons and crosses. Enjoy.
