A Neon-Coloured Bracelet made from Plaited Cord

This bracelet is made from a piece of neon-coloured plaited cord which is assembled with a silver fold-over cord end. A neon-coloured bead is attached as a pendant using a piece of macram cord in a contrasting colour.

Measure and cut the plaited cord so the circumference fits the size of the wrist. Remember to add the measurement of the length of the clasp. Attach a fold-over cord end to each end of the plaited cord and squeeze tightly with flat nose pliers.

Attach a round jump ring and a clasp through the loop of the fold-over cord ends. Use flat nose pliers.

The pendant: Thread a bead onto a doubled over piece of macram cord, leaving a loop at the top for attaching the bead onto the bracelet. Tie a knot at the other end to secure the bead.

Make a tassel by winding a piece of macram cord around three fingers approx. 8 or 10 times.

Assemble the macram cord with a round jump ring. Tie firmly with a piece of cord close to the ring before cuttting the cords from eachother at the other end.

Attach the tassel onto the clasp with a round jump ring.
