1. Cut two pieces of fabric for a bag measuring 36 x 44cm. Each piece of fabric is sewed together from two different kitchen towels. Sew the bottom together. Sew the sides together, but leave 5cm open both in the top and in the bottom. Fold 1cm from the top and then fold 3cm down and straight stitch. 2. Make the cord like this: cut 9 meters of cotton twist yarn and fold it double. Place the loop end around a handle and twist by using a pencil. Twist very tight until the cord starts twisting on the middle. Double up the cord and cut it in the middle. Put tape on the end. 3. Fold a cord or use a large safety pin. Thread the cord through the drawstring hem and back again (see photo 1). Thread the other cord through in the opposite direction. 4. Turn the wrong side of the bag out. Thread the cords along the long side and out through the hole and sew backwards and forwards (see photo 2). Cut the end with tape or tie a knot.
