Happy, Happy Easter
let the people say all day long,
Christ is risen from the Tomb
Alleluia, Alleluia is our song.

When skies turn blue and days grow long,
I think of singing a happy song.
The birds will whistle, the dogs will bark,
The sun and moon light up dark.
With winters over I'll travel to friends,
I'm looking forwards to our Easter week end.

Are part of Easter scenes
But let us not forget
What Easter really means

Made of chocolate as well

Wrapped in paper colours so bright.
Oh! so tempting once they're open

Wrappers opened all in haste
All the Kids love the sweet taste.
So very tasty and delicious

Yummy, gooey, reluctant to share
Chocolate on their face, in their hair.
Having a good time does anyone care!

Easter is for getting together
Family, Friends even better.
Sharing time with each other.
