St. Andrews Day Verses & Poems

From the highlands to the lowlands,
Scotland's always there for me,
As we celebrate St. Andrew's Day,
There's nowhere else I'd rather be,
When I hear those bagpipes starting,
I'm overwhelmed with a sense of pride,
Of our history and culture,
Which cannot be denied,
So with the Saltire high and flying,
A dram of whisky I will pour,
And raise a toast to all things Scottish,
My homeland for evermore.
