Birthday Other Verses & Poems · Page 2

You cannot live without music,
From classical to pop,
You'll play the old piano,
You'll play it 'til you drop,
For a day with some music,
Is a dull and lifeless thing,
For music is the breath of life,
For all the joy it brings,
So now it is your birthday,
We wish a day for you,
That reaches all the right notes,
And has perfect harmony too!

Today is rather special,
Because it's just for you,
It's the day for cards and presents,
For cake and candles too,
It's the day you're made a fuss of,
A day when dreams come true,
And a day of celebrations,
Is especially what you're due.

A day when you're the centre of attention,
We all need from time to time,
The day we can let our hair down,
The day that we can shine,
For it's only one day a year,
That we can call our own,
So don't forget to celebrate,
The year that has just flown.

Do you remember when life was simple,
And the sun shone all day long,
When hide and seek was our favourite game,
Or maybe kick the can,
But now it's all computer games,
Online shopping and designer brands,
When we were happy with half a crown,
Now it's nothing short of a grand!
But there are some things,
Time will never change,
For when your birthday's due,
Is lots of friends sending wishes,
To someone as nice as you!

With his violin in hand,
Into a world he does retreat,
He plays it like a lover,
Melodious and sweet,
He tells a wondrous story,
As his bow touches the strings,
While the music saturates the air,
With the harmony that it brings,
And now it is your birthday,
I send you joys beyond compare,
I'm hoping the wishes that I send to you,
Will show how much I care

We don't always need grand gestures,
Diamonds or other treasured things,
To help us celebrate an occasion,
And all the joy that it brings,
What often gives us more pleasure,
That warms our heart on our day,
Is spending time with our loved ones,
To build memories that will forever with us stay.

Someone whispered in my ear,
That you deserve a treat,
That you deserve a fuss being made,
To make your day complete,
For you are a special person,
Who in life deserves the best,
May today and the days that follow,
Be better than all the rest.

Hope this card is one of many,
That drops on the floor,
From friends far and near,
And the neighbours next door,
They all want to wish,
A special person like you,
A wonderful day with much happiness too.

You're a very special cousin,
You're a friend and companion too,
You're part of our wonderful family,
And today best wishes are due,
For we're all going to celebrate,
Your birthday with lots of fun,
You may be another year older,
But an exciting year has begun!

It does not seem a year
Since last we sent to you
Our wishes for your special day
And all that you would do.

And once again we wish you
All joyous things and more
A day that's filled with happiness
And memories to store.

Then when you think in years to come
Of Birthdays long ago
You may remember fondly
How much we love you so.

So have a day of pleasure
Do things that make you smile
For .............. you are treasured
Today and all the while.

Celebrating birthdays is always good fun,
So raise a glass to a special day -
To another year begun,
May the candles, the cake,
And the presents galore,
Make you shout with excitement -
And leave you wanting more!

Happy Birthday - two little words,
And now they're just for you,
This card is sent with lots of love,
And all good wishes too,
So celebrate your special day,
It's unique and all your own,
Let's make this special occasion,
The best you've ever known.

Wishing you a birthday
That is filled with love and cheers
Wishing you a birthday
With all your loved ones dear
Wishing you a birthday
That will fill your day with glee
Wishing you a birthday
With lots of love from me!

With love & happines always

Mark today as wonderful,
That's unique in every way,
Treasure it, remember it,
As it's your own very special day,
Enjoy the celebrations,
The cards and presents too,
Along with all the love that's sent,
Especially to you.

And so it has arrived,
The best day of the year,
The day that brings good things to you,
Along with lots of cheer,
It's a day of celebrations,
A day that's full of fun,
A day that ends another year,
And a new one has just begun.

Birthday time is here again
Another year has passed
You don't look any older
Than you did the day before last.

Cake, candles, presents and friends,
Laughter, joy, celebrations to the end,
One day a year that is special for you,
Enjoy it, embrace it, In all that you do!

Hoping that your birthday
Is a very happy day
For someone that is wonderful
In every single way.

Also please remember that
Each day the whole year through
The best of things are always wished
Especially for you.

You and your trusty camper-van,
Will travel over hill and dale,
To spend weekends relaxing,
The little engine never fails,
You'll stop by a rippling brook,
Or just motor on by the sea,
There nothing better than a picnic,
Or fish n chips out of paper for tea,
So I hope that on your birthday,
You'll travel to the place you like best,
To celebrate your special day -
Whilst also enjoying a rest!

I wish you a day full of beautiful things,
A day you'll remember for the joy that it brings,
A day when you laugh,
A day dreams come true,
A day that's your own,
That's especially for you!

Books, books, books,
The passion in your life,
You read eagerly from the dawn,
'Til well into the night,
You don't need ebooks or audio,
They're no good for you,
It's hardbacks or paperbacks,
Because nothing else will do,
So now it is your birthday,
I'm sure that you will find,
Along with lovely greeting cards,
A novel from someone kind.

Pack up a little picnic,
It's sunshine all the day,
Go out into the countryside,
Throw your cares away,
Walk and talk and sit awhile,
Enjoy a wonderful view,
As I know that on your birthday,
This is a perfect day for you!

Another year older, another year wiser,
Is that what is said to you?
But on this special occasion,
We need big celebrations,
For nothing else will just do,

For life is for living,
For laughing and loving,
For family and friends we love dear,
So bring on the fun - and look forward to - another exciting year!

You are an Archers Addict,
You are an Archers Fan,
You know the lanes of Ambridge,
From Borchester to the River Am,
You know all of the characters,
And to which family they belong,
And if you ever had the chance,
You'd listen to The Archers all day long,
But today it is your birthday,
Have fun and celebrate,
But don't forget at 7 p.m.,
By the radio you must wait!
