Halloween Spooky Tree Word ArtCompleted by Donna Ritchie

I found I had to keep the background muted to allow the design to show but still make my card interesting.

For both of these cards I used backgrounds from Halloween backgrounds (cup635440_819).

For my yellow card I printed the design on textured card then cut around the tree shape before outlining this with Distress marker 'Ripe persimmon'.

I then flat stuck this shape to my base card. For my green card I roughly applied 'Bundled sage' Distress stain to my card before printing the design.

I cut this card down slightly and edged it with Distress marker 'Shabby shutters' before layering it on 2mm foam strips on my base card.
