Open the Door! Baby's First Christmas Army CardCompleted by Alyssuzi Creative Cards by Suzi Cooper

Firstly - a big thank you to Amy who produced this sheet to order within 12 hours. I printed the sheet onto lightweight card then cut out. I attached the base image to a cream A5 card then edged with gold peel off borders.

I cut around the doors then scored & folded back. I added 2 pink brads as door knobs leaving them raised. Attached this panel to card front using silicone. Added another row of gold border below. Assembled decoupage elements using 2mm foam pads. Finished with greeting panels.

This is a lovely card made for my partners nephew who is serving in Afganistan to send to his baby daughter for her first Christmas.

I found this very emotional to make but I am sure it will be well received. Thank you again Amy.
