Soft Grey VellumCompleted by Darlene Handorff

THis was an easy fast card to make. I used a photo I took last summer of a cool car for the main image. Since this is a small card I will have lots of grey design material to use later. I printed this grey pattern not on velum this time but on glossy photo paper as I wanted everything to shine around my "hot car". I layered the grey pattern onto a square card then layered a red square which I drew a silver border on, then a square piece of shiny Christmas paper was added onto the red and also strips on both sides of card. Lastly I cut out my car and layered it with build up foam squares.

This will be perfect for my nephew's birthday next month as he just started driving. This grey pattern will be most useful in making many masculine cards as it is very neutral and grey goes with anything...as you can see here. This pattern stands out with and accents just about any color and it looks exceptionally Super with black. Have fun!
