Poppy Art Trio Vellum 2Completed by Margaret Swaby

Thhis gorgeous sheet would lent itself to any occasion. Printed on vellum , it would look stunig as a base for a card.

It could equally well be used as an insert but in this instance Iprinted it onto normal printing paper and used it as a backing sheet for an 8 x 8 scrapbook page.

I started by cutting the central part down to size, making sure that I got the most prominent poppy just where I wanted the photo to go.

I then cut around the petals of the poppy and run a tape pen along the inner edge of the photo which I then stuck underneath the poppy so that the petals fell over the picture.

I edged the photo with gold flowered peel off edging to keep in with the poppy theme. I used black lettering for the title and felt that there was no need for any more embellishments. A lovely sheet that I will use again and again.
