Elegant Christmas Greetings Matching VellumCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I have previously used this item as a backing paper for card fronts and as I now have the capability to print onto plain vellum without any problems, I have been able to use this design a couple of times to enhance greeting cards by completing an insert for both the cards I have recently finished using cup978262_719, Merry Christmas Decoupage Topper.

The acetate window finished card has the verse I have chosen, from the free verse for friends Christmas section list, printed onto the right hand side of white copy paper while keeping the paper in the landscape position, and then reprinting over this with the sheet provided.

It was then easy to cut the finished sheet down to size to fit into the finished card. The other decoupage finished card front has the vellum copy of the sheet provided as the insert. For this card I have printed the verse onto the white insert page and attached the vellum print over the printed page using red narrow D.S. tape.

The left hand side of the insert has a small image of the main element attached which can be viewed through the vellum stars.

I have found that using the red power tape for attaching the vellum and the acetate avoids spoiling the visual outcome with a line of tape showing.
