The sheet was printed onto super smooth white card and all elements cut out. A white card was trimmed to the same size as the base layer.

All outside, purple, edges were gone over with a purple metalic marker (to highlight, but also to disgise the white cut edge when looking at the stack sideways).

The base image was stuck to a mat of frosted gold and this was cut with a decorative edge scisors to give a narrow border.

The matted base layer was stuck to the card so that the gold mat protruded outside the card.

The pearls on each layer were highlighted with 3D crystal glaze and left to dry before completing the card. Each layer was put on in order using 1mm double sided foam tape. A bow was made from two strips of yellow and gold ribbon held together, and this was stuck to the top right corner of the card.

The bookmark had a piece of the same ribbon added to send in the card as a gift.
