1950's Pink Polka Dot BeautyCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.

I shaped the skirt of the dress with my fingers then added foam tape to the outside edges only. I did this for each layer. This makes the skirt look like it is blowing in the breeze. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I added a blob of silicone glue under the wings of the butterflies to give more definition.

I added glitter to the butterflies and to the centre of the large flowers to enhance this gorgeous design.
