Leaf & Feathers Artistic Card Front 1
My new Artistic Card Front design with my contemporary style leaf and 2 feathers one on each top and bottom corners.
The size of this Card Front design is 5.613" x 7.607" (14.26cm x 19.32cm).

I am often looking for a card front design for a Male occasion, such as Birthday.
Congratulations, Sympathy, even Father’s Day for my son, and this delightful art work by Anna was offered for purchase, so I have made a couple to put in my out box for the next suitable celebration.
I have made this card a birthday celebration and have used a white card cut at 28x14cm, and scored and folded it in half.
I then used a pale green print background sheet cut the same size to attach to the outside of the card using glue tape.
I then scored a vertical line 2cm in from both edges. These will Valley fold into the inside of the card at a later date.
I have printed the sheet provided, twice, on the same sheet and using one copy have cut out the main leaf design element, retaining the frame as intact as possible to use as part of the insert.
Using the second copy as the main backing sheet I have cut out around the 12x9cm frame and used D.S. tape to attach it to the 12.5x9.5cm pale orange backing sheet and the darker orange 13.5x10cm backing sheet and then onto the left hand side of the card front 2mm in from the edge top and bottom of the card front.
I then used the silver decorative peel off strips and tiny corners as embellishments. The vertical birthday sentiment I have attached onto an orange 13.5 x1.5cm card and attach it to the right hand side using D.S. tape.
I then used the silver peel strips as embellishments.
I used the reserved frame over the verse I have chosen to print and tucked the right hand edge of the insert verse under the 2cm valley fold and secured the verse, frame and fold over edge using D.S. tape.
I have added a strip of the pale green print to the left hand side of the verse and added one of the sentiments provided.
I have attached a feather from the art work and used it as an embellishment on the pale green page I have attached onto the left hand side and used D.S. tape to secure the left hand valley fold flap over the edge.
I then attached the reserved main leaf image to mount using padded D.S. tape to the card front. Thank you Anna, this card will suit so many special occasions. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
