Gingerbread Apron SheetCompleted by Helen Jennings

I printed onto super smooth card and cut out the elements. I built up the decoupage on the front of the apron using foam pads. I folded the tabs under on the pocket and stuck it to the front of the apron with ds tape.

I glued the buttoned bows to the pocket. I used a punch to create the holes where marked. I used 2 of the tartan strips to create the ties which I threaded through the holes and stuck to the back with tape to hold in place.

I then placed foam pads along the back of the strips to give dimension and stuck them to the front of the apron.

I used a piece of rafia for the neck strap and addded a couple of gold hearts to the decoupaged heart.

I then stuck a co-ordinating button to the front of the apron.

I attached a piece of cream paper to the front of a brown A5 card blank and attached the apron to the front with foam tape.

I then die cut the letters to make the word yum which I stuck to the side of the card.

I finished off with some gold coloured ribbon tied around the side. This makes a lovely card and you could even pop a small voucher etc into the pocket.
