Kimono Paper Folded Doll LetteringCompleted by Darlene Handorff
I had way too much fun making this card! I used a heavy manilla folder type card stock to print the pattern pieces. I cut out the pieces for one doll and her kimono.
After putting the doll frame together with her face and hair I wrapped the Kimono around her, doing some extra folding around the neck area ( I didn?t use the collar cut out) I colored in a collar with gold pen.
I used a gold candy wrapper for the obi and cut 2 little slippers and glued them on. I also used a little bling and a flower for her hair and collar decoration.
I used vellum blue cherry blossom, decorative cut out little flowers, an Asian sign for friendship, tiny little Panda Bear stickers, and red and silver metallic paper and a Just for You greeting banner.
I?m going to have fun with these as I don?t think I got my fill of dolls when I was young.
Have fun!
