Another one of Anna's wonderful so easy to make designs for the 2014 Chinese N.Y

I resized this to12.5 square and printed it twice onto the same sheet of white matte card

I used one as the main topper and made 2 backing sheets . A pearl finished red, to match the shade on the topper,13.5 x 13.5 which I then trimmed 1mm off each side and using D.S tape attached it to the white 13.5 square card front. I then D.s taped a black backing sheet 12.5 cm square before attaching the main topper.

I used a gold gilt pen to high light the gold markings on the 2nd topper and then attached it to white card with wet glue - allowed it to dry flat between greased paper under a weight to dry. I then cut off the corner pieces and used thin D.S Foam to attach them onto the main Topper.I used thicker D.s Foam to attach the centre octangle, to give a greater 3D effect. I used vellum on the insert trimmed with red and gold edges.

I can't wait to do a larger bigger version of N0.2.
