I printed this gorgeous design onto matte photo paper and cut out all the pieces. I used brown chalk on all the cut edges. I mounted the topper onto a gold mat using dst and then put it on a burgundy card base using dst.

Next time I think I will leave a bit of the card base showing all around. I used red stickles to accent the rose decoupage and then attached it with foam pads. I curled the wings down slightly on one of the butterflies and attached with a foam pad in the middle only.

I curled the wings up on the second butterfly and foam taped its body on top of the first one.

I used Touch of Luna clear on the stocking so it would shimmer. I used the thank you sentiment attached with foam tape. This card could be used for many different occasions and would look great just printed or embellished.
