Candle Duo Ornate Scalloped Picture and LocketCompleted by Darlene Handorff
OccasionAnother beautiful card pattern by Ann Marie Vaux. How could you go wrong? You can't. Use some good photo paper for this special card and it will be easy to do.
I printed this Candle Duo Scalloped Picture and Locket once onto A4 glossy photo paper and cut out the elements and the main image. I used a light green glitter card stock cut out just slightly larger than the main image to layer the main image onto. I then folded and double back taped the locket closure together and attached it to the main image with the half picture of candles attached to the locket inside picture center.
I used a dark green card stock for the base of this card. I then adhered a photo image for backing paper (which I had in my stash) to the front of the main card and then used the beautiful gold and copper ribbon for around three sides. Next I added the main image raising it with thin mounting foam and added another small piece of ribbon and a button to the locket closure. I also ran a gold and copper metallic line on the top of the card.
This pattern could also be used as is by just using it as a front to a smaller card and it would be just as ornate and very special.
