Guarding the Queen Medieval Topper with DecoupageCompleted by Gail Pennycuick

I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and decoupaged the pieces. I matted it onto a cream shimmer card base and used gold peel-offs to form a border on either side of the image.

Then I attached some aqua and copper embossed flourishes and fleur-de-lis as shown and some faux gems to complete the card.

This is a lovely medieval design that could be used for several different occasions.
