Art Deco Topper with Pyramid Layers in LilacCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This beautiful Art Deco framed lady in an elegant dress was a delight to step by step put together with tiny D.s Foam squares. I made a white card 28 x 20cm and the backing sheet in black glitter, which I cut to fit the card front.

I printed the sheet provided in light white card, cut out all the elements. I mounted the frame being the main topper using D.S tape & attached it to a matching purple card and allowed 0.5 cm edge I then cut around the shape of the frame. I threaded green ribbon through the sentiment where the holes were marked and attached the ribbon with sticky tape to the back of the purple card. Using D.s tape I mounted this to the black glitter backing sheet. I used purple square buttons as backing for the art deco style lights and threaded hand made paper beads to the buttons. These I then stitched through to the Black glitter. I added self sticking rhinestones in green, mauve & grey in various sizes to suit. I threaded some extra beads which I made into a small oval shape and threaded purple and green ribbon through the oval and attached this with a crystal topped hat pin and glued a small bead at the point with super glue for safety

This certainly makes a statement and is very suitable for many female occasions. A lovely card, Thank you
