Mothers DayCompleted by Jane Appleton
OccasionI printed out the element sheet on super smooth paper, then trimmed the main image, cutting each side where the ribbon goes through to the back.
I placed a lilac ribbon across the top of the design and fed through the cuts into the back, holding down with masking tape on the rear.
I used Sakura clear star gelly roll pen to go over the text, so when the card is turned this stands out.
I also used this pen on the corner decorations for added effect. I mounted the main image on cerise cardstock.
I used 4 toning ink pads in pinks and lilacs to stamp a floral doodle stamp which I have in my stock.
Using the lighted lilac ink pad I distressed the edge of the base card to slightly frame. I then placed the mounted image in the centre of the card.
I placed a small purple ribbon on top of the ribbon image on the element sheet and then placed each layer of decoupage over top using silicone glue.
