I printed the design onto 255gsm photographic paper and again onto 300gsm card and cut these out. I decided not to mount this design onto a card but to make it a standalone card instead.
I scored the 300gsm card just above the birds head and then attached it to the design using strong double sided tape.
This allows the card to stand easily. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. Beautiful.
I printed on to matte photo paper at half size. I used this as a template to cut the back of the card and attached front and back on the top half only, scoring the back to create a stand.
Layered all elements. Added sequin blossoms and a greeting.
A gorgeous design, make a shaped card or use as a topper.
