2 Beautiful Stitched Burlap frames with Roses Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

Here we have 2 absolutely beautiful floral card fronts on a stitched burlap background. Lucky me, 2 for the price of one from Ceredwyn. I made up both cards, in a similar way. I began, by printing the sheet, twice, onto 200gsm white matte card.

To make the first card, the one with the mauve stitched burlap, I used one of the copies to mount it, with padded tape squares, onto an off white backing sheet, 10cm x 9.5cm. I then made up the main card, 24 x 12cm, which is white, with the opening, in an easel style. To this I used double sided tape to matte, first a pale pink card, 10.25 x 10.25cm and then a deep rose shade card, 10x10cm., to one another. I then used padded squares to attach the main burlap topper. I used the second copy, of the same card front, to cut away, and keep, the off white frame, retaining the leaves that overhang the frame. I used, tiny, double sided padded squares, to mount this to the card backing sheets, and the main topper. I used a length of 2cm wide mauve satin ribbon, to wrap around all of these pieces and tied a bow, before I matted this to the main white card.

The second card is the one with the tan and gold burlap. I actually followed very much the same techniques with different shades of backing sheets. The white main card is 23cm x 11.5 and opens book style. I attached firstly the green backing sheet, 10.25cm, square, with padded tape. To make up the topper I used a multi shaded orange card 10cm x 10cm, then used padded tape to attach the main stitched burlap square. I used a very narrow 6mm bright green ribbon to wrap around the 2 of these, and tie a bow, before attaching them both to the deeper green backing sheet with regular double sided tape. After carefully cutting out the central floral and off white frame, including the overhanging leaves, I used padded tape to attach this, to the main stitched burlap topper with padded tape. As you can see 2 beautiful small cards, that I have made from this sheet. These are absolutely perfect to post at a regular postal cost. All a wonderful saving. Thank you Ceredwyn and a big hug
