I have added 4 Frosty Snowman Christmas cards to my collection I am organising for postage for this coming Christmas season.
The sheet provided for purchase by Stephen Poh, generously offers 4 individual Frosty Snowman as toppers on the one A4 sheet.
I printed the sheet onto 2 satin finished white A4 matte 170gsm sheets. The first image showing the 2 completed card fronts are shown as numbers 2 and 3 respectively on the sheet.
Each of the toppers have been cut leaving a scant 1mm white border and after the next small shaped backing sheet has been attached have then been attached to the card front using padded D.S. tape.
I have made 2 cards using cup479106_96, Holly background, each cut at 15 x 11cm, which has a red fine line border, as the main backing sheet which, in both instances, are attached to the main white 200gsm matte card, cut at 24x16cm, which has been previously scored and folded.
The trumpet blowing number 3, snowman is cut keeping the scant 1mm white border and backed with the same shaped 2mm wider, dark red same shaped backing sheet with the decorative ribbon between both all of which has been attached using D.S. tape.
This topper is then attached to the holly background using padded D.S. tape, with the bow and gold snow- flakes added as embellishments.
The insert is bright green and has the Christmas verse printed onto the right side and a copy of the same snowman from the second sheet on the left.
The card made using Number 2 from the sheet is treated exactly the same but I have used a bright yellow as the backing sheet and a gold ribbon attached in between, attached a gold bow and the gold peel off sentiment.
The insert s completed using Blank Metallic Card with Decorative Border 7, cup1069998_96, a design by Anna Babajanyan. I have used the sheet to cut out the matching snowman as part of the embellishment for this insert. The next 2 images shown are the images numbers 1 and 4 from the sheet provided.
The white main cards are the same size as the previous 2 and both are cut and backed similarly, but are treated slightly differently.
The silver and burgundy embellished topper has the blue backing sheet and for the main backing sheet, I have used a silver, 15x11cm textured card and trimmed the card front with the burgundy bow, silver fine line peel off decorative strips, swirls and stars as extra embellishments.
The insert has cup1070000_96 Blank Metallic Card with Decorative Border 9. The soft blue shade of this insert design matches the scarf and hat of the snowman on the card front, which is also the feature embellishment on the left- hand side of the insert.
The snowman who appears to be shouting Hoorah has been treated as decoupage by using the image from the second sheet, attached last, using padded D.S. tape, which has added extra dimension and has a bright green shaped backing sheet with the green ribbon wrapped around before attaching this topper to the 15x11cm gold foil backing sheet.
I made the main card by printing cup797372_79993, Mistletoe and Berries, a design by Clare Walker, onto both sides of the 200gsm white card.
The simple tied green knotted ribbon is threaded through the attached horizontal ribbon on the right- hand side of the card front, the peel off decorative green peel off strip and the gold peel off stars complete the embellishments for the card front and the verse I have chosen, the sentiment, decorative peel offs complete the embellishments for the insert.
Thank you for this sheet offered for purchase, it has supplied me with a busy, but pleasing productive imaginative afternoon during which I have been able to incorporate other previous purchases.
