Cardinals Snow Scene Topper with DecoupageCompleted by Barbara Stubbings

I do love my cardinals and have quite a collection of cardinal ornaments. I printed the design on to good quality white card and cut it out using scissors and a craft knife for the finer work.

With the male I ?fringed? his head feathers to accentuate them.

I then mounted the blue snowy base to a piece of red card which I then mounted onto a plain white card.

I added the bird and holly elements adding a little gold and red glitter to catch the light. Finally I added some silver snowflakes and a salutation.
