Let It SnowCompleted by Stefanie Mohrmann
OccasionThis was a very simpple design to recreate. Print out onto some good quality smooth cardstock, choose a matching base card, that kinda thing. I thought.
I decided to add some drama by choosing a dark grey pearly card base, nearly done.
I cut out the decoupage elements and discovered that although the 3D effect of the design as-is is good, I wanted more pizzaz!
So I used Glossy Accents (yes, I only buy the large bottles) to cover all of the tiles and the extra santa hat to give them that special "3D tile sticker" look. You have to leave the glossy to dry for several hours, make sure it's lying flat.
I also found some wire with regular lumpy bits which I strung down the middle where that glitter line is in the design. And some rhinstones.
So this ended up quite flashy - just goes to show how flexible you are with this kind of design.
