CHRISTMAS BIRDS Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This is so cute, and the birds so tiny, and yet they stand out so well as if in 3 dimension. I printed the sheet onto Crafty Bob's Gloss card, and cut out all the elements. I then colour matched permanent ink pens to edge all the pieces so that no white would be visible.

Items I made to use for this card.

1. A blue card 24cm x 12 cm folded in half. 2. I printed out onto white copy paper "Merry Christmas" Many times to cover the sheet in various fonts. Printed it out in red and covered it with a thin layer of white/green glitter glue. Cut at 9.5x 9.5cm

3. Blue Card cut at 10cmx10cm ( One shade paler than the main card).4. A bright red card 11cm x 11cm.

5. 6mm Red Ribbon 15cm length.

I used Crafty Bob's double sided padded tape roll, cut into small pieces to mount the front topper onto the red scroll topper as instructed,(making sure to delete the shadow line).I then attached the elements using double sided tiny padded dots. I used silver/green glitter glue on the wreath and the red scroll and set aside to dry. I used a red permanent pen to colour some peel off strips and added these to the edges of the Merry Christmas sheet once it had dried. I matted the pale blue backing sheet to the red backing sheet and attached the ribbon, centre front, and over to the back of the red with double sided. I used crafty Bob's roll of padded double sided tape cut into small squares to attach these 2 backing sheets to the main card. I attached the completed topper to the white "Merry Christmas" sheet with a glue pen. When it was all put together I added more of the glitter glue to the white Merry Christmas backing paper to give a more misty, snowy effect.

I hope you like my card. as much as I do. I used the remaining part of the sheet I had made with Merry Christmas on as the insert for the card.

I need to keep my Christmas stash building before the end of year rush and need to keep my cards in preferred postage size, otherwise postage bill becomes excessive, and, as I only pay for the design once, it helps enormously with the cost. I never think it is too early to start the Christmas card making. Thank you so much for such a lovely design.
