Gold Floral Vines Plain A5 Locket Card FrontCompleted by Darlene Handorff

THis locket card front is called "plain" but it is far from plain it is most elegant and takes just a little tweeking for it to be just the card you need for most any occasion. This time it is a Mother's Day card. I printed the pattern on good glossy card stock and cut it out per instructions I used a gold card stock for the base and double back taped the main piece to the front of the letter sized card folded in half.

I then put together the locket and attached it as instructed. Very easy, but I did use a little piece of tape to help secure it at the hinge both on the inside and on the outside, luckily it does not show. I picked the image Dearest Mother cup48384_499 for the inside locket and resized it to fit and cut it out to fit the oval frame. I then attached it to the inside and ran a bit of gold pen around it. I also did a very low profile layer of the child and mother from the pyramid Dearest Mother. I used some beautiful metallic ribbon left over from Christmas on the front top and bottom and used gold edging peel offs on the sides.

I used a gold peel off Happy Mother's Day inside on the back of the locket door there it is! Very fun when you have the right pattern to begin with your efforts are well worth it.
