Chinese Good Luck Card Topper

This is a good luck/ congratulations card with a difference. I printed the design on matte photo paper and cut out my desired pieces - the Mandarin character is not difficult to fussy cut. I layered the centre pieces on 1mm foam before adding the character using glue - this allows some manoeuvrability in placement. This movement is desired as the character has to go 'up' a few of the layers - adding interest to the card. I didn't have anything suitable for the pattern on the left so I used clear rhinestones in a line.

So that I did not distract from the gorgeous design I flat stuck it to a plain white card. If desired this design would also look stunning on a matching red card or a fine gold one.
