Tall Card Toppers with Butterfly & Swirly FlowersCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded a 7 x 7 inch card. I attached a background paper to the card using double sided tape.

This backing paper is actually the front of the envelope from design Arched Door Easel Card Shock Me Pink Boutique Kit, cUp 266708_1298.

It should have been a vibrant pink colour but one of my cartridges was running out and it printed yellow instead.

Like all crafters I never throw anything out. LOL. I thought it made a lovely backing paper for this design.

I attached one of the panels from the design to the card using thin foam tape. I cut out the pink flowers from the other panels and decoupaged them onto this panel and added them to the half circle too.

I then used gold glitter glue to form swirls similar to that in the design.

I also traced over the swirls on the design with the gold glitter. I added a greeting using thin foam tape. This is a very versatile design and you are only limited by your imagination.
