Pretty Shades of Blue and Turq Butterfly ToppersCompleted by Donna Ritchie

The colours in these designs are stunning and work equally well when backed with a contrasting, or toning, colour. They can be left plain (to let their own colours display) or decorated with pearls, etc.

I printed the design on matte photo paper then carefully cut around the decorative border - the design works with the framed butterflies vertical or the frame at an angle allowing the butterflies to 'fly'.

The blue butterflies are backed using one of the papers from cup508681_5 (Grunge backing papers - Subtle shades).
