Have A Magical Day - Fairy Card Topper
I used a cute little precolored fairy image from Sassy Cheryl to create this kit. It includes the 5 X 7 topper, image layer, decoupage layers, ribbon and 3 labels. One label is blank and the other two labels say: Have A Magical Day or Happy Birthday.

Thank You Deloris for this really cute greeting card design that comes complete with all the elements for the decoupage.
I printed the sheet onto CB matte white copy paper, which kept the crisp clean lines of the design.
I cut out the main image leaving intact a tiny 2mm white margin on all 4 sides. I used a ruler and an orange permanent pen to colour this white margin. I made a yellow linen finished card to use for the first backing sheet and cut it at 13 x 9.5cm.
I used a green permanent pen and ruler to mark the edges of this backing sheet before attaching it with D.S. tape.
I made a bright light green backing sheet which I cut at 14 x 10.5cm, and used the ruler and green pen to line the edges of this before attaching it using D.S. tape.
To keep the crisp look the main card is white and measures 22 x 14.5 then score and folded before attaching the topper using D.S. tape.
I cut out all the smaller elements to use in a step by step method. I had cut out the central main image keeping a narrow 2mm white margin around the scallops that form the frame of this main image and attached it using D.S. tape.
I used small thin padded D.S. squares to attach the decoupage pieces into position I attached the bow and the sentiment with strips of D.S. tape.
I then used a slightly darker green plain backing sheet for the insert and drew a little dress and black cat.
I wrote the verse myself and you are free to use it if you wish.
This was so quick and easy to make, and is such a versatile design I am able to use the blank sentiment strip for a different celebration or occasion another time.
I am sending you a hug Deloris, with my thank you. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
