Cats Memories Large Topper 6Completed by Donna Ritchie

I love this design and wanted to make it the focal point of my cards so I tried to come up with a number of different ways to do this (see Toppers 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10 for my other ideas).

For this card I printed the design on matted photo paper twice. I stuck one copy of the design to my base card. I used a 4 circle die cuts - one was the size of the cat's face. I also used 2 that were bigger than this and 1 that was smaller - in my set of dies it was every 2nd die so that the rings were not too thin. I raised the largest ring on 1mm foam squares, the next smaller on 2mm foam squares, the cat's eye ring on 3mm and the centre circle on 4mm squares. Each ring was edged, inside and out, with a black ink pad.

It takes a little time to ensure that the design is lined up but it is worth it.
