Sweet Treats - 8 x 8 Scalloped Corner Topper Completed by Carmen Mulcahy

I could not resist this image as it looked good enough to eat!

For this card, I resized the image for use on an A5 card front, printed it onto photo paper, cut it out, layered it up using foam tape and pads and applied some glitter glue to highlight a few areas.

I chose not to use the corners on this card. I used a remnant piece of strong purple cardstock to make a backing and applied it to the font of my card blank which I'd scored and folded from A4 lavender cardstock.

I punched a remnant piece of pink cardstock to make a base for my wording which I made using green glittered alphabet stickers.

I used lime green organza ribbon to match the alphabet colour. Ribbon scraps were trimmed to stick up from the wording tag as a final touch. I really enjoyed putting this card together.
