Lilac Pansy Valentines Day 8in Vintage Decoupage Topper
I have designed this decoupage topper for a 8x8inch card, it fits with enough edge for a backing sheet. I have added a sentiment for that occassion you might need and you can add the extra layers of the flowers to give your card some depth.
Please check the multi link and the other colourways available. Mix n' match insert panels are available as well for these designs and they start at cup395739_10 for the hint of insert panels and full colour insert panels start at cup 395741_10

Definitely for a loved and lovely lady. So sweet "pansies for thought"
I reduced the size & cut out the topper and elements using Crafty Bob's matte photo paper.. The topper is 12.5 square and with the backing sheets deep mauve 13cm Square to match the pearls and pale green 13 5 cm square to pick up the shades in the foliage. They all sat well on the 14.5cm Square ivory card.
The pansies,I edged with a lilac Spectrum Noir pen and then I decoupaged them with tiny D.S foam dots. I used a white gel pen to high light the white flower heads, and the stitching line and Crystal Accents on the centre of the pansies and the white area only on the pearls. I added the backing sheets to the topper using D.S tape and then stitched seed beads (the same shade as the pearls )around the scalloped edge through the 3 layers.
I then used D.S tape to attach the finished topper to the prepqred card, The insert is CUP 466066_1446 ( The lilac one from "2 Background floral sheets", I finished off by attaching satin ribbon to the spine on both sides, Slipped an extra length through to tie a bow. Using a gold calligraphy pen I wrote Happy valentine's day in the same script as the sentiment
on the front of the topper onto the RHS of the insert (The lower case letters finished at 1cm height. A card to love and to give with love. A b eautiful sweet design.
