Fluttering White DovesCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This is a beautiful elegant design by Art fresh with the added extra of universal usage. I am keeping it in my sympathy list and have double listed it for Easter, Wedding, Mother’s Day and Female Birthday.

I printed the sheet provided three times at the same size and also once a little smaller to use as part of the insert.

The finished light purple main card is cut at 26 x 12 cm, then scored and folded before I have defined the edges with a silver metallic pen.

I have made the base of the topper using a pale soft green 11.5 cm square card which I have edged with a white decorative peel off strip before attaching on the top of it the main 10.5 cm square image from the sheet provided using padded D.S. tape.

I used the same decorative white peel off strips along the edges before attaching the 2.5 cm wide mauve satin ribbon horizontally across 4 cm up from the lower edge of the green backing sheet.

I used the second image of the same size to remove the outer frame retaining it for use on the insert, and attached the smaller main image to the topper using D.S. padded tape.

I cut out the window frame and lower grill from the third copy, keeping the 2 doves intact and used D.S. tiny padded squares to attach this to the topper.

I used peel of light purple gems to attach around and form another frame, a blank sentiment tag and then used glitter glue carefully to high light the doves.

I set this aside to dry. To complete the insert I have used a matching pale green sheet cut to size and used the smaller image elements to form a space for my personal greeting and used the smaller extra elements as embellishment on the left hand side.

I also have used the larger frame, I had cut away and reserved, on the left hand side. I then attached the topper to the card front using padded D.S. tape. I have used the same ribbon to tie a simple small bow and used red power tape to attach this, tails outwards, on the left hand side.

This card will fit in a 14 cm square envelope and still have room for some protective bubble wrap for posting.
