Beautiful Roses In A Fancy Frame Square Card Front
I have designed this large beautiful card front with my rose flowers image placed in my oval frame design. For the backing layer, I chose my decorative border design.
Happy Birthday, Best Wishes, With Love, Congratulations greeting tags are included on the sheet as well as one more blank tag where you can write your own greeting.
The size of this card front or topper is suitable for large 8x8 inch cards.

I needed a quick, bright floral card to send to my sister in law who has been very unwell for a long time, just to let her know we are thinking of her.
This beautiful image of pink roses in this elegant frame certainly is the answer.
It was so easy and quick to complete. I made 2 copies on white card and used one image as the base backing sheet and the second copy I used just the central oval jewelled frame as the decoupage.
I made a square card from a large ivory snake skin textured sheet, which when scored and folded measures 15cm square.
I was able to use the other half of this ivory sheet as the insert. I used a bronze permanent pen to edge the ivory card and define the edges of the 13.5cm square pink card.
I used D.S. tape to attach the main image to a white card which I had cut at 12.5cm square and defined the edges with the bronze permanent pen and then attached the main image onto the top of the pink card using the padded tape.
Before attaching this to the card front I used some 2.5cm wide bronze organza ribbon over the top of a greenish gold satin ribbon to attach across the front of the main image 2.5cm up from the lower edge.
I used the padded tape to then attach this main image and the backing sheet to the card front and then wrapped it around to the back securing it with D.S. power tape.
I then attached the cut out oval frame saving the rest of the image to use as part of the insert and attached this frame of roses using padded D.S. tape.
I coloured some gems to match the pink and the burgundy hues of the images and attached them onto the card front and the corners of the main image.
I used the same 2 ribbons to make a voluminous bow and attached this using padded D.S. tape.
To make the insert, I used the left over section of the snake skin textured card which fitted perfectly and added the main image left from the oval removal and using D.S tape I attached it to the left hand side and added some pink gems.
All I have to do is add our personal greeting and post it by 6 o’clock. This is a delightfully easy design with a maximum result. It is so suitable for so many occasions, I know I will be able to use this many times. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
