Old Tulips Card Front & Tea Bag TilesCompleted by Peggy Stogdill
OccasionPrinted one copy on matte photo paper, then selected just the card front and printed two more. Selected the tiles and printed them on lightweight high resolution paper.
I cut the lavender paper from one copy of the base image and the tulips tag from another, then distressed them further, even wrinkling them a little.
I mounted my first base image (after crimping it) onto green paper, then onto a card, with DST.
Then I layered the two cut-outs with silicone onto the base image, added the medallion (made from a CUP tutorial-I didn't do the greatest job, so I covered up the center a bit with "stamens" I punched from one of the extra tiles and some glitter), added a squishy paper rose, the sentiment (also distressed), and a glitter glue outline.
I cut a bit of one of the tulip designs from the scraps I had and used it on the inside of the card.
This is such a soft and pretty vintage design!
