Lacy Blue Squares - Teabag Tiles Set 5Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I used 2 sheets of the tiles copied on to good quality copy paper.

I cut out all 40 tiles and made them up in"Crazy Carol's zig-zag Fold Variation" from 14/05/12 page 28 of the tutorials under the heading Tea bag Fold Instructions.

It looks so complicated when they are put together in the mandala but I assure it is so easy.

. I made them reversed sides to use & as a result the pinwheel effect turn in opposite directions.

The Card was made in a very simple style to maintain the main effect being the the mandala

The card is Pealised dk Blue cut at 29x 14cm and scored at

11,13 & 24 cm then folded M,V,M in turn. To this the topper is matted with D.S Tape.

The 2Toppers- Dark Blue pearl finish paper 10.5 x 13.5 cm, then Mirror finish Royal Blue card10.5 x 13.5 cm. I then made strips 8 by 1cm and 8 by 0.5cm. These I attached with a glue pen diagonally onto each topper, Trimmed them neatly at the edges and then matted the toppers in place on the card.

I then used a wet glue pen to attach the Medallions (mandala) and decorated with pale blue rhinestone gems, adding the remaining single tea bags and sentiment./ This is for a very sick friend so used the sentiment"We just wanted to brighten your day"

You could use buttons for a male card or glitter. Such a beautiful finish on the design work as well.Would suit every adult occasion
